MONA Delivery Policy
1. Introduction
This Delivery Policy has been prepared by TKT Mimarlık Anonim Şirketi ("MONA") to inform you about the processes of delivering your orders placed through www.monadek.com ("Website").
2. Delivery Time
2.1 Standard Period
Orders placed through the MONA Website are shipped within 7 (seven) to 14 (fourteen) business days following payment confirmation. Weekends and public holidays are not included in this period.
2.2 Configurator Products
For custom-made products designed through the configurator, the delivery time may be extended depending on the complexity of the module and production intensity. In this case, the estimated delivery time will be separately specified in your order confirmation email.
2.3 Legal Maximum Period
In accordance with Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the legal maximum delivery period is 30 (thirty) days from the order confirmation. If delivery cannot be made within this period, the Buyer has the right to terminate the contract and demand a refund of the amount paid.
3. Delivery Region
3.1 Domestic
Delivery is made to all provinces of Turkey.
3.2 International
International delivery requests are handled separately via info@monadek.com before placing an order. For international orders, shipping costs, customs duties, and delivery times vary depending on the destination country. For international deliveries, the Buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the customs regulations of the destination country and for paying any customs duties.
4. Shipping Company
Deliveries are carried out through MONA's contracted cargo, logistics, and, for large-sized products, special transportation companies. Since the MONA modular shelving system is a large and heavy product, special transportation may be chosen instead of standard cargo. When the product is shipped, the tracking number will be sent to your order email.
5. Shipping Fee
5.1 Fee Calculation
The shipping fee is calculated and displayed separately at the cart and payment steps before the order is completed, based on product size, weight, and delivery address.
5.2 Free Shipping Campaigns
Free shipping may be offered for orders above certain amounts or during campaign periods. Please check the campaign page on the Website for current campaign conditions.
5.3 Return Shipping Fee
For return processes, the shipping fee:
- Return of catalog product (exercise of right of withdrawal): Borne by the Buyer.
- Return of defective/damaged product: Borne by MONA.
6. Delivery Address and Delivery Level
6.1 Address Accuracy and Delivery Level
Delivery is made to the address you specified during the order.
Delivery Level: MONA delivers products to the apartment door of the address specified by the Buyer. The product is brought to the outer door of the apartment, including the ground floor of the building and floor ascent.
Exceptions:
- If the elevator is insufficient for the product's size or weight, stairs will be used; in this case, no additional fee will be incurred.
- If the product cannot physically reach the address due to the building or staircase structure, the Buyer is informed in advance, and alternative solutions (leaving at the door, another address, return) are evaluated.
In-Apartment Transport and Assembly Service: Carrying the product into the apartment, transporting it to the installation location, and performing assembly; this is an additional service offered only within the city limits of Istanbul and for an extra fee. Buyers requesting this service can contact info@monadek.com before ordering to inquire about prices and terms.
In cases of delay, incorrect delivery, or return due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information, additional shipping costs will be borne by the Buyer.
6.2 Address Change
After the order is confirmed, a request for an address change can be evaluated for orders not yet shipped when sent to info@monadek.com. An address change may not be possible for orders that have already been shipped.
7. Receipt and Damage Inspection
7.1 Inspection Upon Delivery
When receiving your cargo package, please perform the following checks:
- Check that the outer packaging is undamaged.
- If there is visible damage such as dents, tears, crushes, water marks on the package, do not accept delivery without having a damage report prepared with the cargo official.
- For packages accepted without a damage report, it becomes difficult to claim rights for cargo-related damages discovered later.
7.2 Internal Damage Notification
Report internal damages noticed during the opening of the package after delivery to info@monadek.com with photos within 7 (seven) days from the delivery date. The notification must include the order number and at least 3 photos clearly showing the damage (packaging, close-up of the damaged part, general view of the product). Late notifications may not be considered.
7.3 Delivery to Third Party
If delivery is made to a third person specified by the Buyer during the order (flatmate, doorman, neighbor, etc.), the Buyer is responsible for the damage inspection by the person receiving the delivery. Acceptance without damage by the third person means acceptance without damage by the Buyer as well.
8. Not Found at Address
8.1 First Delivery Attempt
If the cargo official cannot find the Buyer at the delivery address, the cargo company will try to contact the Buyer. Since MONA products are large, an appointment will be scheduled for a second delivery attempt.
8.2 Non-Receipt
If the package is not received within the specified period, the cargo will be returned to MONA. In this case:
- If the Buyer requests re-shipment, additional shipping costs will be borne by the Buyer.
- If the Buyer cancels the order, all payments collected, including any delivery costs, will be refunded to the Buyer within the legal period.
8.3 Temporary Absence from Address
If you know you will be away from your address for an extended period (travel, relocation, etc.) before placing an order, we recommend specifying an alternative delivery address.
9. Force Majeure
In cases where the delivery time is extended due to force majeure events beyond MONA's control, such as natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire, etc.), epidemics, war, terrorist acts, extraordinary weather conditions hindering transportation, raw material supply problems, customs delays, strikes, lockouts, and operational disruptions of cargo companies, the Buyer will be informed via email or SMS as soon as possible.
If delivery exceeds 30 days due to force majeure, the Buyer has the right to cancel their order and request a refund of the amount paid.
10. Assembly
10.1 Self-Assembly
The MONA modular shelving system is designed for easy assembly by the end-user. A detailed assembly guide is sent with the product. For questions encountered during assembly, you can write to info@monadek.com or get visual support from our WhatsApp line.
10.2 Professional Assembly Service
MONA offers professional assembly service only within the city limits of Istanbul, for an additional fee. This service is not automatically included with the product order; if requested, the price and suitable date are determined by contacting info@monadek.com before the order. Assembly service is not offered standard outside Istanbul.
10.3 Damage Caused by Assembly
Damages occurring during assembly performed by the Buyer or third parties assigned by the Buyer (over-tightening of screws, forcing parts in the wrong order, incorrect panel assembly, etc.) are excluded from warranty and right of withdrawal. Damages occurring within the scope of professional assembly performed by MONA are MONA's responsibility.
